You will have an open door for growth opportunities ranging from becoming a veterinary technician to specialty medicine and future management positions! Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Caring for our Boarding animals Cleaning, laundry, and basic clinic upkeep Patient handling and restraint Medication administration & filling prescriptions Assisting our Technicians and our Veterinarian as needed Tackling projects as assigned (with a smile, as always!) Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures.
- Restraint of cats and dogs; some exotic pet experience or interest a plus
- Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and facilities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. (Log patient weights, process lab specimens, and update client records)
- Maintaining cleanliness of hospital (clean, well stocked pharmacy and exam rooms, patient cages, and equipment maintenance)
- Interacting with clients in a compassionate and professional manner
- Facilitating the proper flow of appointments
- Provide information to clients regarding fees, preventives, medication, prescription diets and wellness packages
- Reinforce veterinarian recommendations
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the veterinary team.
- Must have Monday and Friday availability!

- Lifting of large boxes, dog food, and a variety of canine and feline species up to 50 lbs.
