They are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $17/hr
Position Overview: As the first point of contact for members and visitors, the Receptionist will be instrumental in creating a positive and welcoming environment. This Receptionist role encompasses a blend of administrative duties, customer service, and support to ensure the seamless operation of the facility.
Responsibilities of the Receptionist: - Greet and welcome members and visitors with a positive attitude
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide accurate information about services, memberships, and programs
- Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations
- Schedule and manage appointments for personal training and classes
- Handle member inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management
Qualifications for the Receptionist: - 2 years of customer service or receptionist experience preferred
- 1 year experience in fitness or wellness industry highly preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the fitness and wellness industry is a plus
Education Requirements: - High School diploma or GED is required
