In this role, you will be part of the larger North America Partners Performance team and the Running Authenticators team. The Running Authenticators team (or Running Specialty Group) is a dynamic team that supports and drives the running strategy focused on Running Specialty doors. You will report into the RSG Sales Organization to a Regional Manager. You will collaborate cross-functionally with partners across Sales, Brand, Marketing, Merchandising, and Product.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Authenticators Marketplace Unit is looking for a Partner Representative to join the Running team! Our primary goal is to manage relationships with key partners who authenticate our brand. You will also identify product opportunities, implement merchandising strategies, stay current on product and product changes, and display strong customer service skills. An ideal candidate will be passionate about running, the sport, the culture, and the people.
- A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience in areas such as field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales business planning, or sales business analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
- Experience in the Running Industry in retail or sales is strongly preferred.
- Ability to prepare, plan, and deliver clear and persuasive presentations.
- Understanding of the competitive market, customer, and retail trends.
- Ability to use financial data to make decisions and maximize account profitability.
- Ability to develop seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift and carry samples and bags weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role, you will be part of the dynamic RSG team that is responsible for the Pacific Northwest inclusive of REI. You will be the primary day-to-day person responsible for the totality of the REI business and manage a small group of independent accounts.
- You will drive the authentication of Nike running through REI by aligning to existing strategies while optimizing Nike product sales by developing accurate and realistic seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans.
- Your role includes soliciting and submitting orders and ensuring timely coordination of order tracking, retail release and launch information, order confirmation, cancellations/Return-To-Stock summaries, and delivery of information.
- You will increase sell-in and sell-through by preparing, planning, and delivering clear and persuasive merchandising and product presentations.
- You will strengthen account relationships by collaborating cross-functionally with partners in Sales, Brand, Marketing, Merchandising, and Product to ensure we are bringing inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.
