Parts AdvisorTwin City Dodge is looking to add a motivated experienced Parts Advisor to their dynamic Team! The Parts Advisor sells parts to customers over the counter, through the shop or on the phone and internet. The Parts Advisor is extremely knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories and can accurately answer questions and satisfy customer requirements in person or on the phone. The ideal candidate has previous experience with automotive parts and accessories. He or She must have a pleasant and courteous personality, exceptional customer service ability, strong phone and computer skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.At Twin City Dodge we believe that employees are the key to our continued success. - Meet and exceed Chrysler Customer Care Standards each quarter in all related areas
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line
- Pull purchased parts from stock
- If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
- Assist outside sales representatives with their orders
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up
- Solicit assigned accounts by phone
- Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process
- Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received
- Ensure that all parts are charged out before they leave the department
- Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with customers, both on the phone and in person
- Replenish assigned inventory daily
- Keep current on new products and product updates
Requirements:
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- One year of experience in an automotive parts department is required
- One year of sales experience
- Previous experience with Tekion preferred
- Professional personal appearance
- Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time
- Clear and valid drivers license
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
