Reports To Director of Engineering, Process, and Quality About Your Role The Parts Assembler will be responsible for assembling automotive components and sub-assemblies. This individual will work closely with the engineering and interior departments to ensure that all parts are accurately assembled according to specifications, meeting both quality standards and production deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts, components, and sub-assemblies correctly according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure all parts are assembled with precision, functionality, and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the interior department to integrate and align interior parts and features during assembly.
  • Inspect and test assembled components to ensure they meet the company's high-quality standards.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Engineering, Process, and Quality to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor CNC, 3D printers, and other equipment to ensure they are operating correctly to avoid production delays.
  • Actively seek ways to improve processes and outcomes, raising the bar for quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure the proper use of tools and equipment, maintaining safety and efficiency in the work environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and raising quality standards.
  • Hold yourself and others accountable to complete the job efficiently and accurately the first time.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work well independently or with a team.
Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and prioritization while adjusting to changing production requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work daily.
  • Ability to maintain professional communications with managers, coworkers, and vendors.

  • Dependability and work ethic to show up every day on time.
  • Ability to work 7am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, overtime on evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is required.
  • May be required to supply own tools.
Education Background and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Steady and dependable job history
  • Assembly and machining experience preferred.
Physical Demands (To include but not limited to)
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to use tools.
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures for long periods of time.
  • Safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • This is a safety sensitive position and wearing PPE and abiding by safety rules is required.
