Parts Associate - MazdaPosition SummaryThe primary responsibility of this position is the organization and maintenance of the parts department and parts inventory.Core ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position.

• Conduct shipping and receiving activities using dealership procedures
• Report all overages and shortages
• Stock all parts and accessories received for stock in their correct bins and/or locations
• Control all special and emergency orders by tagging them and notifying the appropriate person
• Ship all parts and accessories in accordance with the carrier's shipping instructions (i.e., route, UPS, bus, express, etc.)
• Maintain the physical inventory by keeping stock in the proper location, saleable condition, and free of safety hazards
• Maintain bins, racks, and other equipment.Notify management of any needed repairs
• Keep bin labels and location designations accurate and up to date
• Conduct a perpetual inventory as directed by management
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum QualificationsThe requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
