Parts Attendant - Steel Dynamics : Job Details

Maintain spare parts storage areas to ensure easy access and proper inventory levels. Provide support to maintenance teams by quickly locating and supplying required spare parts.

• Issue parts to internal customers and maintain work orders
• Stock incoming parts and verify inventory
• Cycle counting inventory
• Answer the telephone and utilize a two-way radio
• Practice all safety regulations
• Clean work areas daily
• Operate a forklift as required
• All other tasks as assigned

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to details
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly, on a daily basis
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Valid drivers license
• Basic math skills
• A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations
