Responsibilities:

The Parts Call Center position is responsible for providing accurate and timely price quotes and other information to customers for all our store locations, using the Company telephone system, with a high degree of efficiency, and to sell heavy duty truck parts using parts manuals, both hard copy and electronic, with excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications:

Examples of Essential Functions of the Job

  • Provide excellent support to our customers. Locate available parts using identified resources for when the dealership is out of stock of requested parts.
  • Greet and assist customers with parts orders and questions using the Company telephone system.
  • Use and operate a multi-line telephone system, computer and computer programs (such as Microsoft Office, Excel, typing) with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Invoice and process credit card transactions.
  • Manage workflow in a face paced environment, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage tasks in a well-organized and detail oriented manner.
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations.
  • Build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Other: Must be able to operate a computer and telephone

Experience: previous customer service and parts experience required.

Skills: Must be professional and safety minded at all times. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Demands: (These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successful perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodation may be available to enable people with disabilities to perform the described essential functions.) Will be up and down from desk during work shift. Extensive use of telephone and computer monitor and keyboard.

Environmental Demands: Primarily indoor work. Moderate noise level in office environment.
