Job DetailsJob Location BROOKSHIRE PARTS WAREHOUSE - Brookshire, TX DescriptionSummary Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling parts request orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential parts. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining the warehouse inventory
  • Perform inventory counts as required
  • Perform day to day shipping and receiving duties
  • Perform the building of part cages for our buildout team
  • Perform the upkeep of the warehouse per 5S methods (e.g. sweep, clean, dust, etc.)
  • Make daily/weekly shop runs to deliver parts from warehouse to customers
  • Restock items as they come in and maintain accurate documentation
  • Use forklift to load and unload heavy components
  • Maintain storage locations for all items
  • Perform additional parts warehouse duties as required
QualificationsQualifications
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations (e.g. inventory, shipping & receiving)
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams
  • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Significant work experience in warehouse / parts operations (2+ years)
  • Experience in maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Forklift experience required
Revenue and Profits: The Parts Clerk clearly understands that as a condition of his/her employment it is his/her responsibility to utilize and adhere to all company processes and procedures as well as utilize all best efforts in generating revenue for the company. All pricing of parts and services will be defined in a method of computation outlined by the business owner/operator. The Parts Clerk is to discuss reason for any substantial discounting for services or parts with the business owner/operator prior to making a final decision. In all cases the Parts Clerk should immediately inform Executive Management of any inabilities to perform in the areas of revenue generation, and to additionally provide the reasoning for such inability. Parts Clerk recognizes that in good part, his/her performance will be evaluated by his/her ability to reach and maintain gross revenue, gross profit and customer service goals set forth by the business owner/operator. Training Programs and Regular Business Meetings: With appropriate notification, the Parts Clerk agrees to attend and participate in all career specific seminars, training courses, industry related certification programs and internal company training and or meetings recommended or scheduled by the business owner/operator. General Conduct: It is the responsibility of the Parts Clerk to always conduct him/herself in a professional manner. This includes the agreement not to use any foul or objectionable language towards any customer, vendor, co-worker or employee. To refrain from any negative comments about any customer, vendor, competitor or employee. As a Parts Clerk, you are expected to maintain composure with all customers, vendors and employees at all times and to carry out all defined duties in a professional manner. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk over 50% of work time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
