Position Overview: The Parts and Inventory Control Clerk will provide administrative support and oversee the parts' distribution and inventory for the company's maintenance facilities. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving materials and parts, maintaining inventory records, data entry, and monitoring and dispensing materials to the maintenance shop employees.
Position Responsibilities:
* Compile parts research and availability for inventory needed
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
* Review order points and quantity with Fleet Manager
* Receives, tags, stocks and dispenses parts to mechanics according to corporate policy and operating procedures.
* Inputs fleet information into the computerized fleet management system daily
* Order and receive inventories into our Fleet Management Software
* Maintains fleet records on inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units
* Supports the Fleet Manager with analysis of fleet operations reports. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends and outliers, and correcting mistakes where appropriate. Resolves data errors and escalates other errors to management for comparison against identified critical objectives and standards
Candidate Qualifications:
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Experience with invoice coding and reconciliation
* Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Heavy truck and equipment experience
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Reliable attendance
* Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
