Parts Clerk - R J Corman Railroad Group : Job Details

Accountability: Responsible for accurate shop inventory tracking and maintaining appropriate consumables for daily production as well as safety supplies. Will perform checks on shop equipment.Responsibilities:o Track inventory, order and allocate materials to the correct department / unit/ job numbero Process purchase orderso Deliver/issue parts to appropriate job / storage locationo Ensure accurate accountability of all stocked items utilizing work order systemo Process and prepare inbound / outbound shipmentso Perform monthly inventories and produce documented varianceso Pickup and deliver parts from vendors as neededSpecialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience:o Microsoft Office Applicationso Work order and/or inventory systems experience/knowledge or similaro Forklift operating experiencePhysical Requirements:o Able to perform physical strenuous worko Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and croucho Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbso Able to navigate into confined spaces as necessaryo Requires frequent twisting while operating equipmentEnvironmental Conditions: Office, maintenance floor, warehouse, outsideR.J.
