Parts Counter - Express Employment : Job Details

Top Job Located in Decatur, IL Salary: $17.00-$19.00Parts Counter | 7:00AM - 4:00PM | Monday - Friday | $18.00/hr - $20.00/hrA local semi-truck dealership in Decatur, IL is looking for a Parts Counter. This is a long-term position with a dealership that sells semi tractors and provides full service from preventive maintenance to major engine overhauls.Qualifications for Parts Counter

• Solid work history with inventory control experience preferred
• Previous parts or parts counter experience preferred
• Experience at an auto parts retailer would be a plus
• Forklift experience would be a plus
• Able to work in a team environment
• Desire to provide the highest level of customer service
• Must be detail oriented with an attention to detail
• Able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis

Responsibilities for Parts Counter

• Wait on retail parts counter customers
• Answer phones
• Generate sales orders and invoices
• Track inventory and keep stock supplied
• Place parts orders online and by phone
• Check in product, tag, and put away
• Ship customer orders
• Release parts to the service department
• Operate a forklift truck
