Leader Automotive Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of AutoCanada, a publicly traded company. Leader Automotive is AutoCanada's first footprint into the U.S. market and we currently have 10 dealerships consisting of 23 different franchises and approximately 800 employees. Currently, we are searching for an experienced parts counterperson to join our team at our Hyundai of Palatine store. We have a high volume service center to support and a strong external customer base. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for selling various automotive parts and company products via face to face with customers and technician's and inbound/outbound phone calls
  • Generate revenue by selling and promoting sales of automotive parts and existing products.
  • Assist walk-in customers with sales and services and respond to questions about pricing and arrival times.
  • Process and review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data.
  • Directly receive and process payment from walk-in customers.
  • Monitor parts inventory to insure minimum stocking levels.
  • Assist with daily housekeeping duties.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with in house DMS systems.
  • Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others and be a team player.
  • Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
  • Must be organized and a self-starter.
  • Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds system a plus.
