HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Parts Department Clerk

Bronx, NY

Pay : $20-$24/hour (dependent on relevant experience)

Bonus : 5% bonus potential

• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other systems as needed

• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills

• Customer Service experience required

Responsibilities

Effectively invoice customers by ensuring accurate information is on all shipping documents

• Make miscellaneous additions to documents prior to billing

• Acknowledge documents when complete and necessary

• Perform backorder maintenance to documents as necessary

• Maintain action pending reports pertaining to customer orders and take necessary action

Provide effective information to parts department employees by entering accurate system data

• Monitor, update and correct all parts department reports

• Coordinate parts department paper flow and filing

• Match vendor packing list with purchase orders

• Receipt miscellaneous stock from outside vendors

• Receipt CAT stock when necessary

Ensure customer satisfaction

• Process special handling orders placed via Parts store/internet

• Coordinate daily Alexco shipment

Qualifications

• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other systems as needed

• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills

• Customer Service experience required

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time

• Hand coordination (typing and writing)

• Occasional forward bending and reaching

• Occasional walking and climbing stairs

• Carrying (up to 20lbs.)
