Parts Department Counter Person - Herb Connolly Chevrolet : Job Details

Description of the role:

Herb Connolly Chevrolet is seeking a qualified Parts Department Counter Person to join our team. As a 4th generation family car dealership, we prioritize creating a supportive and familial work environment for our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting technicians at the parts counter, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist technicians and customers at the parts counter, answering inquiries, and providing guidance on part selection
• Order parts from suppliers and ensure timely delivery
• Create and maintain accurate records of parts transactions
• Coordinate with the service department advisors and managers to fulfill customer needs
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department
• We use Tekion ARC Dealer Management System

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a parts department with an automotive retail dealership
• Experience with General Motors and the RIM program (preferred but not required)
