The Parts Inventory Specialist will maintain adequate parts inventory. The Parts Inventory Specialist will also be accurately shipping and receiving parts while updating inventory records to share with management.Benefits

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects shipments at loading and unloading for damage and quantity; make appropriate notations on delivery receipt.
- Ensures credits are received for returned parts.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and how they relate to parts inventory.
- Advise Estimators and Technicians on receipt of backordered, damaged parts.
- Shipping and receiving duties such as preparing damaged and missing part claims, following up on those claims.
Mirror Match Parts to the vehicle
- Ensures areas of the parts department are organized, clean, safe, and properly stocked.
- Help to track lost sales and aiding in moving obsolete parts in an effort to create an effective parts inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:
- At least six months work experience in automotive or related industry position.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.

- Must be at least 18 years of age; with valid driver's license that meets company standards; may be required to drive company or customer vehicles.
