In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our parts inventory system, assisting maintenance technicians with locating parts, and ensuring the timely ordering, receipt, and organization of parts and supplies. You will also communicate with the maintenance team about order updates, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the shop remains clean and organized.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain parts inventory system.
- Look up parts and assist maintenance techs with locating parts.
- Order parts and other supplies as needed.
- Receive and check in new parts and supplies as they arrive.
- Drive to get parts, as necessary.
- Keep updates on orders and communicate with the maintenance team on expected arrivals.
- Read and understand part manuals.
- Call and set up outside vendors.
- Prepare for outside vendors.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and communication skills.
- Must have strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other software.
- Must be able to read and understand part manuals.
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive for parts runs.
