This position is the primary customer contact focusing on parts sales through the parts and service departments, along with subsidiary operations. The position is also responsible for related administrative functions.Essential Job Functions
  • Represent Midway Ford companies professionally
  • Conduct sales calls in assigned area and on assigned schedule
  • Conduct cold calls or prospecting calls in assigned area
  • Complete a contact report detailing sales call, product or services presented, outcome potential and follow-up steps
  • Make effective sales presentations and use tools such as sales brochures, special pricing and vendor programs to engage customers and grow sales
  • Act as dealership ambassador to resolve customer issues regardless of department
  • Develop account plans as assigned and review with management
  • Update and maintain customer contact information
  • Quote and sell parts; effectively suggest and sell related parts
  • Attend and actively participate in sales meetings
  • Complete all assignments on time and with a high degree of professionalism
  • Cooperate and actively work with other departments and vendors to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor customer spend and implement actions to increase sales
  • Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
  • Follow all Midway company policies and departmental policies
  • Complete all administrative functions in a timely manner
  • Achieve and maintain all required training

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Must be a self-starter and require minimum supervision
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience with preference given to dealership or heavy truck experience
  • Positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to work well with people
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities
  • Missouri residents must have a valid Class E driver's license or above
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical, drug screening and background check
