PARTS PICKER I - FIMCO Industries : Job Details

Order Picker Summary: Perform the essential day-to-day functions in the parts room necessary to get parts shipped to the correct location in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Order Picker Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and ship parts, prepare and process all related paperwork, and operate computerized shipping/labeling machine.
• Count, stock, and reset inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform receiving functions.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Order Picker Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED or High School Equivalence Certificate;
• 1 + year of experience in a shipping and/or distribution environment
• 1 + year of experience with computers or computerized inventory systems preferred

Order Picker Other Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work under pressure, at a fast and accurate pace.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain focus, and keep work area organized.
• Demonstrate reliability and responsibility at all times.
• Possess a positive attitude and conduct yourself appropriately.
• Physical bending, lifting (50 lbs.), pushing/pulling (75 lbs.), and turning; withstanding long periods of time on the shop floor; and tolerating elevated temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
