Description SummaryParts Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the parts room, delivering, and/or routing materials to departments using carts and/or forklift.Important Personal Skills
- Able to work outside in variable weather conditions including high temperature summer months.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment.
- 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license and legally able to work in the U.S., pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
Job Tasks
- Inventory counts.
- Recording incoming/outgoing parts to and from common carriers.
- Load/Offload Inbound and Outbound materials.
- Unpack, compare, identify manufacture information, and count items to verify against packing slips, invoices, or other records.
- Enter received items into Order Tracking form, ensuring correct items received as reflected.
- Complete written logs/ reports of restocking, moves and any changes made to housing or parts.
- Daily counting from withdrawal forms of parts taken and or any discrepancies.
- Receive and restock all parts.
- Send messages and/or pictures of the item(s), to person(s) who need to be advised of receiving item(s) or issues with item(s).
- Ship out part(s) when needed.
- Maintain inventory tracking system.
- Dispensing parts and tools, if needed.
- Know what you have in the part's room.
- Keep part's room clean and orderly.
- Escort outside vendors to their destination and supervise until task completed.
Qualifications
- Must be certified to operate a forklift.
- At least 1 years' experience in comparable role.
- Able to work outside in variable weather conditions including high temperature summer months.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment.
- 18 years or older, have a Valid Driver's License and legally able to work in the U.S., pass a drug screen, physical and background check
