EDUCATION OR TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (LENGTH TYPE): 6 to 9 months in a fast paced service environment in a manufacturing setting; High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education, training and experience. Experience in mechanical parts, inventory control, purchasing and receiving. SKILLS REQUIRED: Use of basic math and the ability to use relevant mathematical formulas. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion. Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with production, maintenance and management personnel. Must have strong customer service skills and strong organizational skills. Must be proficient in Word and Excel with the ability to download and process data. Must have knowledge of inventory processes. Must have experience with Word and Excel and inventory management system. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis. MUST HAVE A RECORD OF ACCEPTABLE ATTENDANCE, CONDUCT SAFETY.SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Issue parts, put parts away on a daily basis and performing cycle counts. Complete all required documentation relevant to parts issued to specific machinery and areas. Other duties as assigned by management.
