Parts Room Clerk - AmerCareRoyal : Job Details

Description The parts room attendant is responsible for receiving and tracking MRO supplies within the RWPP facility. Ensure the correct material is received in the correct quantity and proper storage locations are recorded. Track and report errors, omissions, and damage of incoming freight. Perform cycle count and report errors of critical spares. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Maintenance and Operations teams in looking up and ordering parts
• Receives orders, tools, parts, and checks them into the system via procurement process
• Stocks parts in proper locations
• Performs cycle counts, daily inventories and helps maintain parts location integrity
• Keeps up 5S program as documented for the parts room
• Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
• 1-3 years of experience working at parts counter, storeroom, tool crib, or parts room
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Basic understanding of computers
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Demonstrate commitment to ACR's core values.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous purchasing and inventory experience a plus.
• Familiarity with mechanical parts and materials a plus.
• Maintenance related experience a plus.
• Warehouse and/or stockroom experience a plus.
• CMMS- Computerized Maintenance Management System experience a plus
