Wilson Trailer Company a leader in the Truck Trailer Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented individual to perform parts sales coordinator duties. This is an in-house parts sale position answering incoming phone calls from customers inquiring about and purchasing trailer parts. Requires continual use of computer to research parts, process orders, and complete sales and shipping transactions. Position may also process over the counter, person to person, parts sales. Previous Parts clerk experience would be a plus. This is a busy job with a variety of duties. We offer a competitive wage and benefit package. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Position SummaryUnder regular supervision, the Parts Sales Coordinator is responsible for processing parts orders from a variety of sources; invoice and collect payments from parts customers. Essential Functions
  • Accepts, researches, and processes parts sales orders as needed by the Parts Department. Processes parts invoices, including cash and credit card sales as necessary.
  • Assists Parts Sales Supervisor in coordinating with production and sales departments the loading of distributor and retail customers trailers at Plants I, II, V and VI.
  • Informs warehouse personnel of parts needed to fill over-the-counter parts sales orders. On occasion, it may be necessary to procure the parts from the warehouse himself.
  • Maintains good will between all customers and Wilson Trailer Company.
  • Cooperates and works with all other managers to achieve Company objectives.
  • Is initial contact for orders being taken at Parts Counter.
  • Coordinates all parts shipped by common carrier).
  • Assists Parts Sales Supervisor on all other miscellaneous duties.

  • Ability to read and understand production and print orders.

Skills & RequirementsAge: Eighteen years of age minimum.Education: High school diploma, or equivalent.Preferred Experience: Wilson Trailer manufacturing experience and/or knowledge of trailer parts.Computer Skills: Competent.Certifications: None.Communication: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely using the English language. Other Requirements: Excellent customer service skills. Pleasant personality & telephone voice. Able to wear hardhat, eye, and ear protection & safety toe boots.
