Position Title: Parts Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Identify and determine customers' needs for parts through effective communication.
- Provide accurate information regarding availability, pricing, and specifications of parts.
- Utilize parts catalogs, manuals, and computerized inventory systems to locate and identify parts.
- Order parts from suppliers and manufacturers as required, ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensure that parts are correctly labeled, organized, and stored.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Manage and process returns, warranties, and defective parts according to company policies.
- Promote and sell parts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Assist in merchandising and displaying parts in the store.
- Participate in promotional events and activities to increase sales.
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding the installation and use of parts.
- Stay updated with the latest product knowledge and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and inventory.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment transactions.
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation as required by the Parts Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a parts department, preferably in an agricultural or automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and parts.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in using computerized inventory systems and parts catalogs.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
