Job purpose
This job requires strong computer and customer service skills in conjunction with a solid knowledge in construction equipment and aggregate parts. This position serves with both internal and external customers as must as have the ability to keep a calm during stressful high-call volume and other demanding situations.
Duties and responsibilities
* Answering incoming calls and attending to parts orders, customer service needs, and/or other opportunities. This includes locating the desired parts in a wide variety of parts books, both on-line with vendors and in-house resource books.
* Keep a Quick Reference guide for all common parts; this helps aid in assisting customers as quickly and efficiently as possible.
* Skillfully helps internal customers solve parts problems; identifies proper parts numbers; completes order forms and recommends and sells related items as a service and as requested by customers.
* Help with any parts or product support needs they may have.
* Manages all backordered parts and arranges the desired shipping logistics.
* Work closely with outside Product Support Representatives and assist them in parts orders for customers.
* Professionally handles customer complaints in a courteous manner.
* Assists with any parts needs the service department may have and provide support whenever needed.
* Provide 24-hour on-call support for any urgent parts needs when required.
* Has a can-do attitude and contributes to the success of the Power Equipment Company team.
* Strives to continually increase product knowledge and participates in dealer or manufacturer training events.
* Actively supports safety policy, goals, and objectives plus uses sound environmental practices.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the service manager.
* 24 Hour support when scheduled.
Qualifications
* High school diploma; Associates or Bachelor Degree Preferred
* 3+ years' experience in dealership parts counter and/or inventory management
* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient utilizing computers including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Internet Explorer and general laptop or desktop computer use.
* Has strong knowledge of inventory control software and DMS type systems.
* Forklift Trained & Certified
* Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds and work inside and outdoors in various climate and temperatures.
Working conditions
The employee will generally be working in an office environment. The employee may be required to wear appropriate PPE equipment. The employee could occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the workplace is moderate.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $20.00 and $25.00 an hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
