Job Description :

Akkodis is seeking a Parts Specialist for a contractual role with a large Automotive client in Plano, TX.

Rate Range : $25/hour - $27/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Parts Specialist job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Receive, track, and resolve requests made via email, phone and in person.
  • Organize and track various data and forms by Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
  • Analyze claim trends versus parts ordered.
  • Verify and release parts.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports as directed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in automotive technologies or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6+ months of analyst experience working with an automotive OEM department.
  • Must have knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet due dates in addition to handling multiple tasks while changing priorities.
  • Intermediate personal computer proficiency - able to use Windows Explorer, MS Office Suite, and the Internet.
  • Must have proficiency with Software Applications such as PRS and TQNET, digital photography and editing software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of most conventional automotive techniques including equipment, terminology, and automotive technology.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
