What Will You Do?The Parts Warehouse Lead will be responsible for leading Parts Associates by tracking key performance indicators of the team, ensuring goals are met and reporting them up to the Parts Manager. This person must be able to perform the receiving of the Toro stock order and other facets (i.e., shipping, pulling, checking, packing, etc.) of the parts department.To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for:
  • Lead and direct parts team to efficiently manage daily workflow, productivity, attendance, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Label and put away all products by marking and using our location system.
  • Show accuracy in all aspects of shipping and receiving stock orders.
  • Be able to rotate and shift help as needed to handle normal workloads and respond to emergency demands.
  • Properly identify all parts by labeling each item for identification, customers and double checker must be able to identify each part.
  • When necessary, perform all double checks accurately.
  • Package all shipments to prevent damage and to minimize freight cost.
  • Assist in keeping the shipping area stocked with supplies.
  • Assist in daily counts by being accurate.
  • Assist in the training of new and existing employees.
  • Be able to manage all closing responsibilities.
  • Be creative in solving problems.
  • Promote safe work practices and compliance with policies.
  • Encourage a positive work environment and address any interpersonal issues among the team members.
  • Keep a neat and organized showroom style workspace.
  • Embrace and drive change for improved efficiency.
  • Lead 3 Parts Associates with normal day to day duties (i.e., pulling, checking, packing, and shipping)

  • Must have some background in the parts or warehousing
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership, team lead, or supervisory role.
  • Must be detail, goal, and task oriented and have a high energy level
  • Knowledge of our outlook system
  • Must possess a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Forklift certified.
