Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh pasta dough and shape it into various forms (e.g., spaghetti, fettuccine, ravioli).
- Cook pasta to the desired texture (al dente) while maintaining consistency.
- Follow recipes to prepare pasta sauces and fillings.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all pasta ingredients.
- Taste and adjust seasoning and texture as needed to meet quality standards.
- Assist chefs and other kitchen staff with pasta-related tasks.
- Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly.
- Properly store pasta and other kitchen supplies to prevent spoilage.
- Monitor stock levels of pasta ingredients and report shortages to supervisors.
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing pasta supplies.
- Follow detailed recipes and instructions provided by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
- Measure ingredients accurately to maintain recipe consistency.
- Work quickly and accurately to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to manage workload.
