Fausto, a beloved neighborhood restaurant and wine destination on Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Known for our market-driven menu, we focus on crafting elevated yet approachable dishes that highlight local and seasonal ingredients. We're looking for a dedicated Pasta Cook who is passionate, goal-oriented, and shares our values in delivering a memorable dining experience.

About the Role: As our Pasta Cook, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen, responsible for preparing mise en place and cooking pasta at one of our two pasta stations five days a week, including weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the craft of pasta-making, with plenty of room for growth and culinary exploration.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and break down your station with precision, ensuring everything is organized and ready for service
• Prep ingredients daily and assist with the weekly prep schedule to maintain our high standards
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food quality and consistency
• Embrace the opportunity to refine your skills, work with high-quality ingredients, and take pride in every dish you create

What We're Looking For:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a casual or fine dining setting
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
• A team player with a positive attitude who values hard work and camaraderie
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for over 6 hours
