LeRoy Independent Baptist Church (Canton, PA) PastorTHE BIG PICTURELeRoy Independent Baptist church () is seeking a full time Pastor. LIBC is in southwestern Bradford County, Pennsylvania, approximately 22 miles from the New York State border. The church building sits in the rural community of LeRoy, 8 miles east of Canton off Route 414. Note that LIBC is not a King James only church.Brief Description:The pastor shall be a believer in, and a preacher of, the Gospel and the fundamental doctrines of faith as held by this church. He shall meet the qualifications of a bishop as described in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. He will take the oversight of the church in spiritual things as a shepherd would his flock. His special duties are preaching the Gospel, administering the ordinances, visiting the sick and elderly, and building up the church, the body of Christ, to a position of strength and maturity.Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry, Bible Theology, or a related field gained through an accredited Christian college or seminary is helpful, though candidates with other combinations of training and/or experience will be considered.
