PATENT PROSECUTION ATTORNEYS

LIFE SCIENCE/BIOTECH/MEDTECH - SENIOR (8+ years of experience with portable business)

Fountainhead Law Group is a well-established Silicon Valley IP Law firm with a growing list of interesting clients in the technology industry. We are leveraging our current team and client base to expand along multiple technology fronts.

1) Life Science/Biotech/Medtech - We are seeking a senior attorney with 8+ years of experience to co-lead our further growth in this technology space with our current Life Sciences practice lead. Ideal applicants have PhD or minimum MS degree in a Life Sciences technology. This position is a great opportunity for a BIGLAW senior associate or junior partner to get in on the ground level and provide leadership to grow the firm's practice in this space.

2) Electrical Engineering/Computer Science - We are seeking one or more patent prosecution attorneys with 3+ years of patent prosecution experience and a strong technical background in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related area to support growing demand from existing clients.

Ideal candidates have the ambition to break out of BIGLAW and work with some of the top patent prosecution attorneys in the country on marquee clients to hone their skills, build their own practice, and grow into a leadership position within our firm.

The primary responsibility for this position will be in the area of patent prosecution, with opportunities in the firm's other growing service areas, including patent litigation support, post-grant, patent opinions, FTO, IP asset management, high-tech transactions, etc... (see:

Compensation:

Compensation based on percentage (%) of collections for high quality work, top performance, technical background, and other factors. Lower minimum hours than BIGLAW for candidates desiring a work-life balance. BIGLAW billing (e.g., 1800+ hours) will likely result in better than BIGLAW compensation for high performing candidates.
