Job Description :
Education: High school diploma and minimum of one-year college experience preferred.Experience: Previous business office or patient access representative I or patient scheduling experience preferred.Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Successfully pass Level II exam.Equipment/Tools/Work Aids: personal computer, fax machine, scanning machines, multi-line telephone.Specialized Skills: Microsoft Windows operations, ability to utilize multiple software applications at one time. Ability to interact with the public children, adults, and geriatric. Ability to interpret and verbally express advanced medical and anatomy terminology skill.Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary to utilize the PC and calculator. This position requires sitting for long periods of time and talking on the telephone for extended periods. Demonstrate strong verbal and writing capabilities. Ability to type 50 to 60 words per minute. Ability to; meet attendance requirements of the job.
