Position Summary:
Manages the Patient Access Staff in all front office duties, schedules working hours of clerical staff, and is responsible for training of all office staff. Triages and coordinates support requests for practice computer and software problems. Assists with the resolution of minor computer problems. Assists with the development and implementation of systems and processes to improve patient flow and quality of patient services. Assists the Manager and Director of Patient Access in the hiring, disciplinary and termination process of employees including annual and probationary evaluations.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Office Supervisory preferred or previous experience in Patient Access duties. Customer service and clerical or secretarial experience required. Ability to greet patients face to face. Good diction and phone skills. Organizing and leadership aptitude. Medical terminology helpful, computer experience required.
