This position is in a call center environment. In this position they will be taking full ownership of the tasks related to this position and provides successful outcomes that will enhance the reputation and ensures a first positive impression from a patient experience perspective.
As a Patient Access Rep, you will be responsible for:
- Registering patients accurately and efficiently
- Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
- Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
- Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
- Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
- Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
- Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
- Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (could be 8a - 4:30p OR 8:30a - 5p)

Pay:
$20-22/hr
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- Must be able to handle tough phone calls with patients
- Call Center experience OR Medical Receptionist experience
- Familiar with Health Insurances
Contract to hire position, 800 hours with Medix, then conversion to client company employee.
