We are seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our team! This is a Part Time position with Night Shift hours. Friday and Saturdays are required. What you get to do every day! The Patient Access Representative is the first point of contact for patients entering the healthcare system. This role is responsible for facilitating patient access to healthcare services through efficient registration, accurate information collection, and exceptional customer service.
- Perform patient registration for appointments, admissions, and procedures. Collect patient demographic and insurance information.
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Collect any monies, payments and completes receipts with accuracy.
- Accurately enter patient information into the healthcare system's database.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws, and institutional policies.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient service delivery.
- Answers internal and external telephone calls in a professional and polite manner. Transfers calls accurately to its destination.
- Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization
Requirements What you bring to the role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year or more experience in customer service setting
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working in Microsoft Office
- Oral and written fluency in the English language.
