Patient Access Representative - Rockbridge Area Health Center : Job Details

The Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about helping others and ensuring a positive patient experience, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

• Support office operations, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, timely, and confidentially.
• Handle phone and in-person scheduling requests for patient services.
• Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Input and manage data within our electronic health records system.
• Assist patients with inquiries and provide guidance on available services.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance patient flow and overall service delivery.
• Uphold RAHC's commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical or dental office required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient care.
