DescriptionPatient Access Representative - PRNWill work varying shifts including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed to fill in .Duties:Performs admitting functions for all patients entering the organization, including gathering patient demographic information and Medicare, Medicaid or insurance information.Greets patients and public as they enter and directs them to the appropriate department.Communicates with all departments to facilitate patient care, patient flow, and special needs.Operates the central switchboard and directs telephone calls, paging and taking messages appropriately.Provide clerical support for projects and assignments.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Good computer and clerical skills required.Effective telephone and communication skills required.
