We're looking for a Patient Access Representative to become a part of our team!Our Patient Access Clerks are the face of Cibola General and often the first person our patients interact with. We're looking for a friendly, customer service-oriented individual who has a high attention to detail and enjoys working with people.Patient Access Representative perform the following duties:Check in inpatient and outpatient patients for the scheduled or emergent visits, verify and obtain demographics, insurance information, obtain orders, call for referrals from appropriate payors, collect coinsurance/deductible at time of service, collect payment from self-pay customers at time of service and answer the telephone in the absence of the switchboard operator.Qualifications Needed:Education:High School Diploma/Equivalent SkillsAbility to work on computersCommunication skillsAbility to maintain effective working relationships with staff and physiciansAbility to work independentlyDependable/ReliableGreat customer serviceExperience with medical terminology or medical insurance is preferredPI2609e2641ea6-25660-#######9
