Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 3 Months+ of contract with possibility of extension
Shift : Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Job Description:
The Patient Access Service Rep (PASR) at Froedtert Health will adhere to performance excellence standards in customer service. Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and registering patients
Verifying and updating demographic information
Collecting copays, balancing daily cash collections, and obtaining patient signatures
Assisting with ancillary appointment scheduling and related forms
Managing appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling
Answering and directing phone calls
Performing other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Experience: Minimum of two years in a receptionist/assistant or related field
Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills
Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Organizational Skills: Strong proactive organizational abilities
Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiarity with Microsoft Excel preferred
Healthcare Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred
