Patient Care Associate - Contract Location: New York, NY Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM | Emergency Department Overview: Seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate (PCA) to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, supporting nurses in clinical tasks, patient care, and daily activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Record vital signs, intake/output, and perform EKG, specimen collection, and venipuncture.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, feeding, toileting, mobilization).
• Ensure safety with patient observation and isolation protocols.
• Support dietary needs, maintain cleanliness, and perform patient transport.
• Conduct patient rounds and respond to call systems.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years in a similar role.
• Certifications: BLS, PCA license, EKG certification, COVID-19 Vaccination Card.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication, clinical confidence, and ability to work in high-acuity settings.
