Job description We are seeking a skilled Patient care coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our patients. As a patient care coordinator, you will assist patients in scheduling appointments, proper documentation of health insurance, placing contact lens orders. As a patient care coordinator the patient starts with you and finishes their experience with you,! we want someone to be enthusiastic, friendly, and will go the extra mile. Responsibilities/ Patient care coordinator:

• Schedule appointments
• Confirm Appointments
• Verify Insurance
• Ensure proper documentation of health insurance
• Place contact lens orders
• Check emails/ voicemail
• Process Payments

Skills required for a Patient care coordinator role:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex information
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Empathy and compassion for patients and their families

Experience:

• Experience in an Optometry/Ophthalmology a plus
