This is a Full-Time position with day shift hours and great benefits! Position is located in Staunton, VA Job Requirements: High School Grad or Equivalent Required: Communication, Service Orientation, Typing Speed 30+ WPM Must have ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. Must be enthusiastic and energetic. As a Patient Care Representative with Sentara, you will work in a doctor's office setting. This position's primary duties include positively identifying the patient, collecting demographic and insurance information, and admitting the patients. This role allows you to work with both clinical and non-clinical staff. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients. Completes check-in and check-out functions to include collection of co-pays, scheduling of appointments, and requests for medical records. Answers telephone calls and greets all patients and visitors with a smile. Must have ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. Must be enthusiastic and energetic.
