Principal Accountabilities:Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressingObtains and records vital signs, weights, and heightsAssists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activitiesPerforms post mortem carePerforms EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoringObserves and reports changes in patients' condition to the RNMaintains phlebotomy equipment and inventoryOther related duties as assigned.Required:HS Diploma or equivalentEMT certification and/or nursing assistant certificationPreferred:Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and writtenPatient, compassionate natureAbility to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nursesProficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systemsAtlantic Medical Group is a physician-led and physician-governed organization that delivers the highest quality health care, at the right place, the right price, and the right time.
