Patient Care Technician I PCU Part Time Days - Tenet Healthcare : Job Details

Up to $1,500 Sign-On bonus based on experience

SUMMARY

The PCT I assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to the patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Minimum Education

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

* Nursing Assistant Certification or a minimum 1 year of experience performing nursing assistant duties in acute care nursing/hospital setting.

Required Licenses/Certifications

* Current Nursing Assistant Certification is preferred but not required.

* Current BLS for health care providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)

* Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification w/ 90 Days of hire

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

* Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills

* Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment.
