Patient care technicians will be responsible for direct patient care and can be assigned as a patient sitter as needed.The goal of a patient care tech is to keep the patient safe and assist them with activities of daily living. An effective Patient Care Technician should have patience, empathy, and intuition to serve their patients best. They utilize therapeutic communication, organizational skills, and have a commitment to safety.
