Patient Care Technician - Halifax Health : Job Details

Day (United States of America)Patient Care TechnicianThis individual provides direct and indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. They will also perform clerical and receptionist duties on assigned unit.High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. - Current/active CNA certification required.- 1-2 years of CNA experience preferred.- Basic Life Support (BLS) required- Strong medical terminology- Experience performing clerical/receptionist duties.- Must possess good computer skills.- Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with Team Members at all levels in the organization.- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to assist in providing exceptional care for our patients and their families.
