Patient Care Technician - Northwest Health - Endo - PRN - Porter Hospital : Job Details

The nursing assistant, under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse, is responsible for the delivery of age appropriate patient care including obtaining vital signs, weight, & height. Communicates the completion of tasks and reports any clinical changes to the nurse. Facilitates patient flow by escorting patients and visitors to rooms and transporting patient to private vehicles. Stocks and cleans patient room and patient care bays. Disinfects beds and dresses beds with fresh linens. Education:Graduate of high school or HSE obtainedHigh school diploma or HSE (required)Completion of certified nursing assistant and current valid CNA license (preferred)Experience as a nursing assistant (preferred)Certifications/Experience:Previous health care experience as a nursing assistant or other healthcare experience preferredBLS Certification required
