Weare seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and organized Dental Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and enjoy working in a supportive team environment, we would love to hear from you!Position Overview:As the Dental Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You will play a key role in managing patient appointments, addressing inquiries, and supporting the administrative needs of the practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine desire to help others.Hours needed: Monday - Thursday 6:45am - 4:45pmKey Responsibilities:Greet patients with a friendly and professional attitude upon arrival.Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of the dentist's time.Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries related to appointments, services, insurance, and billing.Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization.Ensure all patient information is entered accurately into the system and remains up to date.Assist patients with intake forms and help them navigate the practice's processes.Coordinate follow-up appointments and facilitate communication between patients and the dental team.Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and ensure patients receive accurate invoices.Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a dental or healthcare office setting is preferred.Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with dental software, specifically Open Dental, is a plus.Why Join Us?Competitive pay and benefits package.A positive, team-oriented work environment.Opportunity for professional growth and development within a respected dental practice.Work in a beautiful, family-friendly community in Bridgewater, VA.A practice that values work-life balance and prioritizes patient care.#indeedwavedpRequirements:Education and TrainingHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience.FLSA Status: HourlyReports to: Operations Manager.
