The Patient Escort- Care Companion/ Transporter recognizes and reacts to environmental safety factors, assists patients with activities, records care given to patients, and prepares and transports patients. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values. What you will do. Recognizes and reacts appropriately to environmental safety factors related to patients care. Assists patient with activities of daily living and basic personal care. Records care given to patient. Adheres to and supports policies, procedures and standards. Prepares and transports patients safely between hospital departments, using stretcher, wheelchair, bed and stroke chair as appropriate. Performs other job functions. Experience Qualifications.
