**Job Summary:**

VUMC Temp Force has full time, temp to hire opportunities for a host/hostess (patient food server) at our main adult hospital. As a host/hostess, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to VUMC patients. You will be in the kitchen to plate food and out in the hospital to deliver the plated meals several times during your shift. It is a physical role and requires pushing, bending and moving throughout the hospital to your assigned floors. You must also be comfortable using a tablet to take the patients meal selections. During the pandemic, meal orders may be taken by phone . * High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and 1 year experience

* Previous experience in nutrition services highly preferred

* Excellent customer service skills
